Another freakout Friday. WTF is wrong with me?!

Very destructive day today. Backed all the wrong horses. Traded with greed.
GREED GIVES LOSSES.

How do I reset? I need to go smaller, more slowly. Probabaly, don't trade Fridays... the very fact that I have trouble stopping myself from Friday trading shows an undisciplined trait.

Shaving some money off my account into the reserves to help me stick to smaller trading.

Over the weekend I need to regroup. I need to watch replays of Meir's trading videos to realign my trading form. I need to NOT watch all the other shtuyot.

I need to trade with the clockwork attitude and not with whatever shigayon I've been employing.

Ouch -9%

Not a great day. More or less red the whole day. By the end of the day, more.
CSCO was beautiful pennant break out that just didn't hold in their well.
WBA breakout didn't flush strongly.
MRNA reversed hard against me.
Bummer day, honestly.

+5% the hard way

Wrecker of the day was the UAL puts in the open that I tried to get too cute with, way too big, too much room. Put me above my max loss before other open trades redeemed it and let me keep trading. UAL puts later did well, but still net red on UAL today. So glad to be green today, but it was a really sloppy way to get there. Not clockwork.

Chop for +3%

Small green day next to yesterday's small red day. Had SPY puts into the close, but didn't hold onto them for max gains.

SQ was the winner of the day, several trades, all green.
-13% in NVAX was on a too-big position and wide spreads. That one hurt because of size, not because I traded it wrong.. The rest was pretty much clockwork, if frustrating.

Boooo. -3% day. Overtrading in choppy day

Started with a nice trade on BABA (bottom of list, sorted by closing time). That was an all day runner, but I only got pieces. I managed to have a loser, and then another winner on BABA.
Overnight MRNA puts did badly, and then I lost on calls too.
NVAX huge spreads, so I ate some on that one.
Other stuff also stam, including a desparate grab at SPY puts at the end.

I traded all good setups today and pretty good clockwork. What I didn't do well was quitting. I just kept trading against hope. At least I did have a self awareness that this wasn't my kind of day... as I kept hacking at it. Next time I get that vibe, I should just stop--even just for an hour or 2--instead of trying to grind into it.
